LOS ANGELES, CA  Aug 10, 201—Cènch Couture announces the launch of Cènch Handbag, a contemporary leather handbag line from LA-based stylist and designer Pamela Lin.  The presentation of the “Ama” collection for Fall 2010 at California Apparel Mart marks the debut of Cènch handbags, available through the nationally recognized wholesaler of upscale apparel.

Cènch offers classic, quality leather bags in an edited collection of 6 styles for Fall 2010.  The line fuses cosmopolitan simplicity and classic American style, made from superior quality leather and hardware.

Designer Pamela Lin drew inspiration from her grandmother’s teaching that women should buy timeless pieces that are created with care to last more than one season.  The “Ama” collection, using the Chinese word for grandmother, reflects that philosophy.  “Buying a trendy ‘it’ bag with a flashy logo can be a waste, since you can really only carry it for one season without seeming dated,” says Lin.  “I designed the collection based on the values my grandmother taught me – good taste is to never be wasteful, and true quality does not fade after one season.”

“It was her mission to always be put together head-to-toe.  She lived to 103 and still dressed for every occasion,” adds Lin.  The Cènch line of handbags and accessories are the perfect finishing touches for any outfit to be complete.   “Cènch pieces never identify the brand, but the quality always stands out.”

The Cènch “Ama” collection will retail for $250-350, so women can invest in a bag that will last for several years at a reasonable price.  The collection has a variety of tote and single strap styles.

Adds Lin:  “As my Ama always said, keep your head up, smile, and be gracious – being beautiful is a cènch!
